Broughty Ferry

Broughty Ferry is a residential suburb on the River Tay estuary, known for 15th-century Broughty Castle, with waterfront views and local history exhibits in its on-site museum. Global and Scottish eateries, cosy cafes, and fish ’n’ chip takeaways cluster nearby, while indie shops sell clothing and gifts. Near a riverside beach, Broughty Ferry Nature Reserve has tree-lined paths and is home to toads and tawny owls.
